DMP New Capital Egypt has announced the construction of an iconic landmark in the heart of Egypt’s new administrative capital: the Kanyon Tower. With a height of 400 meters, the tower is set to be the tallest building in Africa, and it will feature a unique design that combines modern architecture with traditional Arabesque influences.

The Kanyon Tower will have 100 floors, housing offices, residential apartments, five-star hotels, and luxury retail outlets. The tower will also include a public observation deck that offers panoramic views of the new capital city.

According to the project manager at DMP New Capital Egypt, the Kanyon Tower will be a “game-changer” for the new administrative capital. “We aim to create a new landmark that not only offers world-class amenities but also showcases the rich cultural heritage of the region,” he said in a statement.

The tower’s design incorporates Arabesque geometric patterns and motifs, which will be visible in the exterior facade as well as the interior spaces. The tower’s base will feature a series of arches and vaults that create a grand entrance to the building.

The Kanyon Tower is part of the larger Kanyon development, which will also feature a 90,000-square-meter shopping mall and a residential community with over 1,500 apartments. The project is being developed by DMP New Capital Egypt, a subsidiary of Dubai-based property developer Emaar Properties.

Construction of the Kanyon Tower is expected to start in the coming months, with completion scheduled for 2024. The project is expected to create over 40,000 jobs and generate significant economic activity in the region.

The new administrative capital of Egypt is a megaproject that aims to create a modern and sustainable city that can address the issue of overpopulation in Cairo.
