Kanyon Tower is a new landmark in the heart of the New Administrative Capital of Egypt. This iconic tower is set to become the tallest building in Africa, standing at a height of 385 meters. The tower is designed by the renowned American architectural firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and is being developed by the Saudi Egyptian Construction Company (SECON).
The Kanyon Tower is part of the larger Kanyon development, which is a mixed-use project that includes residential, commercial, and retail spaces. The tower itself will have 75 floors and will offer a range of luxury apartments, offices, and a five-star hotel. The tower will also have a sky deck on the 70th floor, which will offer panoramic views of the New Capital and the surrounding areas.
One of the unique features of the Kanyon Tower is its design, which is inspired by the shape of the Nile River. The tower has a curved shape that mimics the flow of the river, and the façade is made up of a series of vertical fins that give the building a dynamic appearance. The tower is also designed to be energy-efficient, with features such as solar panels and a rainwater harvesting system.
