Obsidier Tower is a new landmark in the New Administrative Capital of Egypt. This iconic tower is set to become the tallest building in Africa, standing at a height of 385 meters. The tower is designed by the renowned architecture firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), and is expected to be completed by 2022.

The Obsidier Tower is a mixed-use development that will feature luxury apartments, offices, and a hotel. The tower will have 80 floors, and the top floors will be reserved for the hotel. The hotel will offer panoramic views of the city and the surrounding landscape.

The tower's design is inspired by the ancient Egyptian obelisks, which were tall, narrow, four-sided, tapering monuments. The tower's shape is also reminiscent of the Nile River, which is a significant feature of Egypt's landscape. The tower's façade will be made of glass and will feature a unique pattern that will reflect the sunlight and create a shimmering effect.
